    Oxnard man arrested for allegedly caught strangling a woman – stabbing another victim

    On 12/30/2019 at approximately 12:46 AM, officers were dispatched to Saint John’s Regional Medical Center to contact the victim of a stabbing. Officers spoke with the male victim, 31 years of age, who said he had been stabbed near First Street and Eliza Court. He provided a description of the suspect to officers and mentioned that he also knew him. The victim was later transported to Ventura County Medical Center, where he underwent surgery for two stab wounds to the abdomen. The victim is currently listed in stable condition.

    Officers responded to Eliza Court and First Street where they located the crime scene. They followed a blood trail to a nearby residence on Eliza Court. While there they could hear a male and a female voice from inside of the residence. The female sounded as if she was struggling and in distress. Officers made entry into the residence and located Raul Palazuelos mounted on top of the female victim, 25 years of age. Palazuelos had his hands around the woman’s neck and was attempting to strangle her. Palazuelos attempted to discard a knife before being taken into custody by officers The female victim was transported to Saint John’s Regional Medical Center where she received treatment for lacerations to the left side of her chin and cheek as well as lacerations to the inside of her palms.

    Both victims positively identified 30 year old Oxnard resident, Raul Palazuelos as the suspect. Palazuelos was booked into the Ventura County Jail on two counts of 245(a)(1) PC, assault with a deadly weapon.

    Why wouldn’t anyone be able to reply Marissa lopez? These are bad times were living in. its the devil at his best. If this guy is some how related to you. you really need to pray for him.
