Juan Dedios Gallegos III (DOB 3/12/1993), of Oxnard, was charged with the hit-and-run murder of Michael James Holley of Oxnard.
On May 23, 2019, at approximately 10:55 p.m., Oxnard Police officers responded to a collision scene involving a pedestrian in the alley of the 2000 block of Mariposa Street. Oxnard police investigated the collision and arrested Gallegos for intentionally striking and killing Mr. Holley.
Gallegos appeared in court on June 6, 2019. Arraignment was continued until July 2, 2019, at 9:00 a.m. in courtroom 12 of the Ventura County Superior Court. Gallegos is currently in custody with bail set at $500,000.
