Oxnard: Man dies under suspicious circumstances

At approximately 11:20 P.M, June 3rd, Oxnard Police Officers responded to a call for service related to a man down in the area of Wooley Road and Richmond Avenue.  They arrived on scene and found an unconscious male subject lying near the roadway.  Emergency medical personnel also responded, but unfortunately the male victim was determined to be deceased.  The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of his next of kin.suspicious

 The Oxnard Police Department is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this death.  An autopsy examination is scheduled to take place on June 4, 2014.
