Oxnard man shot while walking with friends Monday night
no rx arial,sans-serif;”>On May 25th, Monday night at approximately 10pm, officers responded to a call of a shooting victim near the area of Fuchsia Street and Mariposa Street. The twenty four old victim was walking on the sidewalk when he and his two friends were approached by unknown subjects in a vehicle who shot at them. The victim sustained a gunshot wound to his lower torso. The victim was transported to a hospital and is currently undergoing surgery to determine the extent of his injuries.
An investigation is continuing.
