COVID-19 safety precautions will be in effect at both locations and include a health screening, face coverings, and social distancing.

    • Wilson Senior Center: 350 North C Street, Oxnard, CA 93030

    • South Oxnard Center: 200 E Bard Rd., Oxnard, CA 93033

    • Stay hydrated and drink plenty of water.

    • Check on neighbors, who might be vulnerable to the heat, especially those without air conditioning.

    • If you work or play outside, take frequent breaks to hydrate and cool off in the shade.

    • Keep pets indoors if possible. If outside, give them plenty of water and a shady area to rest in.

    • Symptoms of heat-related illness include dizziness, fatigue, faintness, headaches, muscle cramps, and extreme thirst. If you experience these symptoms, seek medical attention.
