Oxnard PD Arrest Gang Member for a Loaded Firearm and Stolen Vehicle

On April 26, 2018, at approximately 1:30 p.m., officers from the Oxnard Police Department Special Enforcement Unit contacted a known gang member from Ventura in the area of Glenwood Drive and Oxnard Blvd. The subject was identified as 29 year old Ventura resident, Pablo Reyes. Reyes was driving a vehicle that had been reported stolen out of the City of Los Angeles. He was also found to have an outstanding felony warrant for his arrest. Reyes was taken into custody without incident.

S.E.U Officers responded to his residence in Ventura where they conducted a probation search. Officers found a loaded firearm in the bedroom belonging to Reyes along with items linking him to the Ventura Avenue gang. Reyes is prohibited from possessing a firearm and ammunition. He was additionally charged with those violations.
