Oxnard PD arrest known gang members after pursuit — Find Meth

stuff arial, case sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;”>On May 5, cialis 2016 at approximately 7:15 p.m., Officers from the Special Enforcement Unit (SEU) were working directed gang enforcement in the area of C St and Elm St.

As SEU officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation, the vehicle fled and a short, slow speed pursuit ensued. During the pursuit the occupants of the suspect vehicle threw several items from the vehicle. The items were immediately located in the roadways and collected by assisting officers.

After an approximate two minute pursuit the suspect vehicle yielded in the area of N St. and Cedar St. The driver and CDC Parolee, Jonathan Zambrano age 25 years, and passenger, Arturo Dominguez age 40 years were taken into custody by SEU officers. Both Zambrano and Dominguez were identified as members of an active criminal street gang.

The items thrown from the vehicle were identified as baggies containing a combined weight of approximately 20 grams of methamphetamine and a digital scale which is commonly used to weigh narcotics for distribution and sales.

The Oxnard Police Department Special Enforcement Unit is committed to reducing gang crimes and violence in the City of Oxnard through the strict enforcement of laws specifically targeting known, active gang members in the city. Citizens are reminded to contact the Police Department when they observe suspicious activity or are witnesses to a crime.
