Oxnard PD arrest man for child pornography/sending lewd material after parent of 12 year old alert police

an adult male was attempting to entice her 12 year old daughter online. While proactively monitoring her daughter’s online social media usage, she learned that the adult male may have been involved in exchanging lewd material with her daughter via online social media applications.

After an extensive two-month investigation, investigators from the Oxnard Police Department’s Family Protection Unit arrested 19-year-old Wesley Jacob Rolen at his Oxnard residence. Mr. Rolen was arrested for various charges which include child enticement, child annoying, possession of child pornography, and sending obscene/lewd material to a child. He is currently in custody at the Ventura County Jail with bail set at $150,000.

Investigators have reason to believe that there may be other victims that have been contacted by Rolen. Anyone with additional information should contact Detective Terrance Dobrosky at (805) 385-7609.
