Oxnard–Police investigating stabbing in Beck Park

Oxnard police officers responded to a person that was stabbed at Beck Park, located at the intersection of C Street and Kamala Street in Oxnard. The person stabbed was placed in an ambulance and transported to the Ventura County Medical Center. The person stabbed was listed in critical but stable condition.

According to witness statements, the person stabbed was involved in a verbal altercation with another person at Beck Park. The altercation turned physical, at which point the stabbing occurred.

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit are currently investigating this case.
