Oxnard–Police looking for clues in homicide

Officers on foot patrol heard multiple gunshots a little before 2am Saturday morning, 4/5/2014.  The incident occurred in the 1200 block of West Gonzales Road. The officers immediately went to the area where they heard the shots and located a male subject lying on the ground. The victim had been shot multiple times and died as a result of his injuries.

The victim was a 22 year old Oxnard resident. His name is being withheld until his family is notified. This is Oxnard’s fifth homicide of the year. The City of Oxnard offers a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of suspect(s) in homicide cases.
