On May 31, 2022 at approximately 8:15 A.M., officers from the Oxnard Police Department were contacted by a female who resides out of the County of Ventura, regarding a possible kidnapping.
During the course of the investigation, officers learned that the male victim was possibly being held in a residence in the 2200 block of Harbor Boulevard. Investigators from the Violent Crimes Unit responded to assist with the investigation.
While on scene, a vehicle left the residence and was stopped by officers a short time later. A female and three males from the vehicle were detained and transported to the Oxnard Police Department.
Members of the Oxnard Police Department Special Weapons and Tactics Team assisted with the traffic stop and a subsequent search of the residence, where two additional males were detained.
The victim was located unharmed. Investigators are still working to determine if a kidnapping did in fact occur. The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
