Oxnard–Resident walks in on burglary

mind times; font-size: 16px;”>Shortly after noon today officers from the Oxnard Police Department responded to a call of an interrupted residential burglary in the 1000 block of Juanita Avenue.  When officers learned that a resident had returned home from work and when he entered his home, both subjects fled.  The resident gave chase and the subjects were ultimately detained by Oxnard Police Department officers.  Both subjects had property belonging to the victim on them, plus the property from additional residents. Leonel Ortiz was booked into Ventura County Jail on charges of residential burglary.  The juvenile subject was booked into Ventura County Juvenile Hall on charges of residential burglary
