Oxnard Revival Center blesses families with Turkey giveaway.

Oxnard Revival Center lives its mantra “Blessed to Be a Blessing” when they held their annual Thanksgiving service where approximately 300 people attended a bilingual gathering. A day of worship, live music, impacting testimonials, and a powerful message on Thanksgiving.

All attendees were invited to the fellowship hall to what will now be known as The Center Café, sponsored by Agustin and Dora Girela. Words of encouragement and a prayer were led by Senior Pastor Misael Gurrola.

The Center Cafe, is a place where church goers and visitors can enjoy a cup of coffee. Attendees enjoyed appetizers as well as apple and pumpkin pie.

To culminate this special day, ORC blessed 20 families with a turkey to celebrate thanksgiving. Thanks to the generous donation of County Schools Federal Credit Union. Representing CSFCU was Daniel Guerrero.

“It was a great turnout and I am glad we were able to give away these turkeys to these families”, said Guerrero.

ORC’s Senior Pastor, Misael Gurrola, felt compelled to share the following famous quote; “When we give cheerfully and accept gratefully, everyone is blessed”.- Maya Angelou

Last but not least, we would also want to thank Louis and Karen Ramirez, directors of “God’s Incredibles” junior ministry, for preparing over 100 “bags of blessings” for the homeless in Ventura County. Keep up the great work!

“Thanks to our community partners, who once again were a blessing to our church families”, said Erika Gurrola, first lady of our church family.
