Oxnard Revival Center hosts its 2nd Annual Christmas Shoppe- El Rio
This past Saturday December 15, 2018, Oxnard Revival Center (ORC) hosted its 2nd Annual Christmas Shoppe where more than 200 families were blessed with toys to celebrate this Christmas Season. Although the exact amount of toys, stuffed animals, and books handed out is still being determined, it is safe to say that well over 1,000 items were gifted to these families.
For the second year in a row, ORC has partnered up with the organization Action to make this event possible and be a tremendous blessing to underprivileged and under-served families throughout Ventura County, especially in El Rio. Many individuals, organizations, and businesses made this event possible, and we would like to thank Action, Toys for Tots, California Highway Patrol, ORC members, and every person who donated a toy for this great cause.
There is no better feeling of gratification than seeing families being blessed this Christmas Season, and that is exactly what Action brings to families in need through these Christmas Shoppes. Action is looking to expand this great event into other cities and areas throughout Ventura County, specifically in Oxnard, Port Hueneme, and Ventura. This goes far and beyond a toy, this ministry delivers hope, love, compassion, sympathy, comfort, and instills faith into the broken hearts of many families in great need. And we want to thank each and everyone of you for your continued support with our community efforts.

I would also like to take this opportunity to inform you that if you know of any families that can benefit from toys this Christmas, there is still time to be blessed. ORC will have its Christmas Service and Community Toy Giveaway this Sunday December 23 @9:30am (English) and @11:30am (Spanish). This will all take place at 2640 Alvarado Street in Oxnard.
