As your elected Mayor, I will:

• Restructure the City Council Agenda by moving Closed Session to Mondays, having only Reports and Study Sessions on Tuesdays and on alternate Thursdays having Ceremonial Calendar and Information Consent items.
• Allow council members to place items on future agendas.
• Allow CAGS to make quarterly reports at City Council Meetings.
• Promote a more pro-active approach instead of a reactive approach to social issues through expanded programs for after school activities, drug counseling and domestic violence. This will reduce the over 300 daily calls for service handled by public safety.
• Promote Local Labor for Local jobs; too much payroll on construction jobs leaves the area.
• Insist on Monthly Income Statements and Balance sheets for the General Fund, each Enterprise Fund and each separate Landscape Assessment District.
• Report the actions taken in Closed Session.
• Identify funding to finish the ball field and aquatic center at College Park.
