    Oxnard | Suspect arrested in Stabbing Homicide

    Investigators with the Oxnard Police Department’s Homicide Unit worked diligently throughout the night investigating the stabbing that led to the death of a 53 year old man in South Oxnard on Saturday night. Approximately 13 hours after the murder, detectives learned the whereabouts of the identified suspect, Andrew Anthony Rodriguez. The Oxnard Police Department’s Special Enforcement Unit made contact with Rodriguez in the 3700 Block of Olds Road in the City of Oxnard and placed him under arrest for murder. Rodriguez was booked into the Ventura County Jail on bail amount of $500,000.

    Investigators are still investigating some aspects of this murder so they are encouraging anyone who may have heard or seen anything to contact Detective Charles Buttell (805) 385-7688.
