OXNARD TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Victoria Ave., Ventura Rd., Vineyard Ave., Wooley Rd., C Street

Northbound lane closure on Victoria Ave. for the rest of this week through March 10.

 

Southbound lane closure on Victoria Avenue March 6-10

One southbound lane will be closed on Victoria Avenue between Gonzales Road and Fifth Street from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, March 6 through Friday, March 10 while Southern California Edison crews perform work along the median.

 

Lane closures on Ventura Road, Vineyard Avenue through March 17

Median construction is taking place at the locations listed below. Construction has begun and is anticipated to continue, as weather permits, through March 17:

 

Ventura Road

8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday

  • One northbound lane and one southbound lane will be closed on Ventura Road between Vineyard Avenue and Stone Creek Drive 

3:30 p.m. Friday through 8:30 a.m. Monday

  • One northbound lane will be closed on Ventura Road between Vineyard Avenue and Stone Creek Drive

 

Vineyard Avenue 24 hours, 7 days a week

  • Eastbound and westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane on Vineyard Avenue between Ventura Road and Pinehurst Drive

Lane closures on Wooley Road through March 23

City of Oxnard crews are performing emergency repairs on a sewer manhole that collapsed this week at Wooley Road near Mercantile Street. Construction has begun and is anticipated to continue 24 hours, 7 days a week through March 23.

 

The following closures will remain in effect throughout the duration of the repair work:

  • One lane closed on eastbound Wooley Road from Commercial Avenue to Rose Avenue
  • One lane closed on westbound Wooley Road from Commercial Avenue to Pacific Avenue
  • The intersection of Wooley Road and Telstar Drive will be closed. Motorists will not be able to access Wooley Road via Telstar Drive

 

REMINDER: Remember to drive cautiously through intersection of C and Ninth streets

The traffic signal at C and Ninth streets is currently not functioning. Stop signs are in place at the intersection. Please remember to follow the traffic law and stop as you would for a four-way stop sign before proceeding through the intersection.
