Panel Discusses Best Practices in Nonprofit and Corporate Partnerships

The Ventura County Nonprofit Leadership Council, in partnership with the Camarillo Chamber of Commerce, announce the “Best Practices in Nonprofit/Corporate Partnerships” panel event, to be held 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 15 at the Ventura County Community Foundation, 4001 Mission Oaks Blvd., Camarillo. Panelists from nonprofits will discuss their experiences in creating collaborative partnerships with for-profit businesses that both further their mission and advance their corporate partner’s business objectives.

Case studies include Montecito Bank & Trust and Community Conscience; Premier America Credit Union and Cancer Support Community Valley/Ventura/Santa Barbara; and Simon Properties’ Camarillo Premium Outlets and American Cancer Society.

The Ventura County Nonprofit Leadership Council, is a collective of thought-leaders that seek to advance philanthropy and build stronger nonprofit leaders to serve the region. The council operates through the Center for Nonprofit Leadership at California Lutheran University (CLU).
