Pedestrain hit in parking lot of Valero Gas Station–Ventura

At one this afternoon, the Ventura Police Command Center received a 911 call of an injury traffic collision involving a vehicle and pedestrian in the parking lot of Valero Gas, 11005 Citrus Dr.  When officers arrived they found the victim, a 43-year-old female, suffering from a serious injury to her leg.  The victim, who was the driver of a vehicle parked at a gas pump, was found to be pinned between the bumper of her vehicle and a second vehicle.  The second vehicle, being driven by an 89-year-old female, was maneuvering her car into the gas pumps and rear ended the other vehicle, pinning the victim between the two bumpers.

The victim was treated at the scene by Ventura City Fire personnel and transported to VCMC by AMR ambulance for treatment of her injury.  She was transported in stable condition. A resident of Camarillo, the 43 year old woman’s name was not released.

The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
