Pizza Delivery Driver robbed at gunpoint in Ventura

On January 29th at 8:47PM  the Ventura Police Department Command Center received a 911 call of an armed robbery that occurred several minutes earlier in the 100 block of W. Mission Ave. It was reported that a local pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint in the area while making a delivery.

During the investigation, officers learned the suspect was waiting for the pizza delivery driver to the front of the location. When the driver arrived to make his delivery, the suspect brandished a firearm and demanded the victim’s property. The victim gave the suspect his personal property, and the suspect fled the scene on foot. The driver drove back to his work and reported the incident.

Officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspect. No one was injured during the commission of this crime.
