Alicia and I recently debated Oxnard City Manager Alex Nguyen.
The League of Women Voters hosted the forum and the topic was Oxnard Measure B. Both sides operated on a level playing field.
We were VERY happy with the event … and we encourage you to read this first of a two-part article published yesterday in the Tri County Sentry.
We’ll share with you the second part as soon as it’s published.
At the forum we made a solid case that Measure B is actually a poorly drafted incumbent-protection scheme designed to extend council terms and handcuff political challengers.
