Smith Rehashes Lie about Not Taking Corporate PAC Money…In an Ad Funded by Corporate PAC’s
Liberal Politician Christy Smith’s shameless lies know no boundaries, and just when people thought she couldn’t take her hypocrisy any further, she actually does.
Smith’s latest phony attempt to fool voters: claiming she doesn’t accept corporate PAC money in an ad funded by corporate PAC money. This comes after Smith sent a series of tweets to justify accepting nearly $40,000 in corporate PAC donations during her 2018 campaign for the California Assembly. In an effort to further her deception, Smith has since deleted those tweets.
“Liberal Christy Smith is a hypocrite and a liar,” said Mike Garcia Campaign Spokesperson Lance Trover. “Just like promising she wouldn’t raise taxes and then doing so to the tune of $3 billion or saying AB5 wouldn’t hurt jobs as it pushes Uber and Lyft toward ending California operations, Smith is now lying about not accepting corporate PAC money in an ad funded by corporate PAC dollars – pathetic.”
Liberal politician Smith has a history of lying. A few examples:
- Promising she wouldn’t raise taxes – then voting for $3 billion in new taxes in less than 2 years.
- Claiming AB5 wouldn’t hurt California jobs – even as it pushes hundreds of thousands of jobs out of California
- Saying she didn’t vote to fire schoolteachers – even though she did.
