Port Hueneme Armed Robbery
Port Hueneme Police Department – Incident Press Release
On 06-24-18, at 2:35 PM, Officers from the Port Hueneme Police Department responded to area of Ukiah Street at West Channel Islands Boulevard in Port Hueneme regarding an armed robbery.
When officers arrived on scene, the adult victim and Port Hueneme resident told officers while walking in the area, he was approached from behind by the suspect. The suspect grabbed the victim, held a knife to the victim’s face and demanded property. The victim pulled away from the suspect and sustained a superficial laceration to his face. The victim then relinquished his personal items and the suspect fled the area on foot.
The victim described the suspect as being a Hispanic male with a dark complexion, bald head, brown eyes, no facial hair, approximately 5-7, 120 pounds, wearing a grey t-shirt, grey shorts with a black stripe, grey shoes and had a tattoo on his left calf.
During the subsequent investigation, officers conducted a search of the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.
