Memorial Day Weekend 2015
Farmers Market
Cool, sunny days perfect for pier walking, people watching, mouth watering locally grown strawberries, fresh bread, delicious food and coffee, all of which was to be enjoyed at the Port Hueneme Farmers Market. This pier was damaged in 2014 and out of commission for almost one year. Reopened in early 2015, it is a peaceful haven for nature enthusiasts who want to be close to the smell of salt water.
The Pier

It has been said that this is the whitest beach in Ventura county. These pictures were taken around 10:00 am on Saturday May 23, 2015.
White Beach
The Farmers Market was pleasantly stocked with succulents, fruit, bread, coffee, vegetables and pastries. The bread stand was extremely popular.

Surfside Seafood restaurant overflowed to the patio serving fish delicacies, Bloody Marys, Mimosas and more. Free parking, mellow blues and man’s best friend made this a very special day.
