Port Hueneme man busted for selling narcotics

decease arial, sales sans-serif;”>On 5/29/2015, detectives with the Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit concluded an investigation of a Port Hueneme resident who was selling cocaine and concentrated cannabis to residents in Ventura County.

Detectives arrested Paul Flores as he left his residence located on the 800 block of Ponoma Street in Port Hueneme. Detectives then served search warrants at Flores’ residence and his locally owned business. Flores’ business is a smoke shop operating under the name of “Vapor Forrest.” It is located on the 800 block of Wagon Wheel Road in the city of Oxnard.

Inside Flores’ residence, Detectives located approximately one ounce of cocaine, several ounces of concentrated cannabis, over two pounds of marijuana, and a loaded handgun. Additionally, several thousand dollars were seized that were deemed to be proceeds from illegal drug sales. No additional evidence was located at the business.

Flores was arrested for possession for sale of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana for sale, possession of a controlled substance with a firearm, possession of a firearm by a felon, and illegal possession of ammunition. Flores was booked at the Ventura County Jail pending his release on bail or arraignment hearing scheduled for 6/2/2015, at 1:30pm. Bail was set at $500,000
