Port Hueneme | Man robbed at Knifepoint in front of His Residence

Port Hueneme Police Department – Incident Press Release

On Saturday July 20th, 2018 Patrol Officers from the Port Hueneme Police Department responded to the 2600 block of Yardarm Avenue regarding a report of an armed robbery.  At approximately 10:20 p.m., Police Dispatch received a 9-1-1 call from the victim reporting four suspects, one armed with a knife, robbed him in front of his residence. 

The victim was seated in a chair outside of his residence when he was approached by two males who demanded his keys.  The victim complied and handed over his keys.  Two more suspects then approached the victim from the rear of the residence and assisted in restraining the victim.  As the victim was being restrained, one of the suspects brandished a knife.

During the robbery the victim was punched near his stomach and his wallet was removed from his pants pocket.  The suspects then ran eastbound on Yardarm Avenue through the Marina Village neighborhood.  Officers checked the area but did not locate any of the suspects.  The suspects were described as Hispanic males between the ages of 19 to 21, two of the suspects wore black sweaters and one wore a white sweatshirt.  All of the suspects attempted to conceal their faces prior to the robbery.
