    Port Hueneme Police Arrest Burglary Crew

    Port Hueneme Police Department Incident Release

    Detectives from the Port Hueneme Police Department were investigating a Commercial Burglary to the Coin Laundry located at 311 East Channel Islands Blvd. as well as an additional Commercial Burglary to the Channel Islands Self Storage facility located at 900 East Hueneme Rd. During the investigation, detectives were able to identify the three suspects involved in both burglaries.

    On June 30, 2020, detectives from the Port Hueneme Police Department conducted a probation search at the home of Jesus Luna-Aguilera in the City of Oxnard in regard to both burglaries. Jesus Luna-Aguilera was contacted at his residence during the search and was arrested for both burglaries as well as additional drug related charges. During the search, detectives were able to locate the second suspect a short distance away from the search location. She was identified as Ana Jeanette Stewart and she was also taken into custody for both burglaries.

    On July 1, 2020, detectives from the Port Hueneme Police conducted a second probation search at the home of Rudy Mora who also lives in the City of Oxnard. Mora was not home at the time but at the completion of the search, he was found walking in the area by a patrol officer. He was detained without incident and taken into custody for both burglaries.

    Suspect Jesus Aguilera has prior convictions for auto theft, identity theft, and drug related offenses. He was booked in the Ventura County Main Jail for two counts of commercial burglary and is being held with a bail amount of $20,000.

    Suspect Rudy Mora has prior convictions for drug related offenses and theft.    He was booked in the Ventura County Main Jail for two counts of commercial burglary and is being held with a bail amount of $20,000.

    Suspect Ana Stewart had an active warrant for her arrest for possession of burglary tools, identity theft, and drug offenses. She was booked in the Ventura County Main Jail for two counts of commercial burglary along with the active warrant and is being held with a bail amount of $22,500.
