Port Hueneme Police Department Releases their Challenge Video

PORT HUENEME POLICE DEPARTMENT RELEASES LIP SYNC CHALLENGE VIDEO

The law enforcement lip sync trend is upon us and we wanted to take this opportunity to showcase our officers in the community they serve. Using various locations throughout the city including the Boys and Girls Club, we accepted the challenge from the Santa Paula Police Department and we hope we answered the call. The job is stressful enough and it’s seizing moments like these – to brings smiles and laughter to those that support law enforcement – well worth the journey. We hope you enjoy the video as much as we enjoyed making it.

This is an era of social media and we are using this platform to engage with our community. We thank everyone in our community for standing by our agency and allowing us to serve you to the best of our abilities. We are often seen in very difficult and dire situations and using this video to help humanize our officers, who are sworn to protect the community, hopefully takes us one step closer to creating even stronger bonds. The Port Hueneme Police Department will continue to Serve Our Community with Pride and Professionalism.

Special thanks to the City of Port Hueneme, the Port of Hueneme, and the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme.

Disclaimer: Our streets and neighborhoods were safely covered by police officers during the filming of this video. No Officers, doughnuts, or animals were harmed nor injured during the filming of this video.

Love it!

This could work, entertain the homeless into following you to the CSU’s! We had a Singing Bath Nurse for difficult patients and it works like a charm!

I am surprised with this well done video. It will help the community to get closer to police and trust in their public service…thank you!
