Port Hueneme | Shots Fired into Residence on Thayer Lane

Port Hueneme Police Department– Incident Press Release

On Saturday December 8th, 2018 Patrol Officers from the Port Hueneme Police Department were dispatched to a call of shots fired into a residence in the 800 block of Thayer Lane. Responding Officers arrived at the residence and contacted the homeowner.  At approximately 10:00 p.m. Friday evening, occupants described hearing a “popping sound” from outside their home. No damage to the residence  was  discovered until several hours later.

During the investigation Officers found the bullet struck a front window as it entered into the home. None of the occupants were found to be injured inside.
