Port Hueneme | Shots Fired at Victim
Port Hueneme Police Department– Incident Press Release
On Saturday December 22nd, 2018 at 1:05 AM, Officers from the Port Hueneme Police Department responded to a call of a subject being shot at in the 220 block of West Hemlock Street. Officers arrived and made contact with the victim who stated he was loading property into his garage with several family members around 1:00 AM Saturday morning when he was confronted by three unidentified Hispanic males.
As the subjects approached the victim, a verbal argument ensued. The victim advised his family to return to the house and as he was walking away from the area one of the suspects produced a handgun and fired one round at him. The suspects fled on foot from the cul-de-sac at Jill Place possibly towards Bolker Drive. During the investigation Officers located one bullet casing near the victim’s garage.
The suspects were described as three Hispanic males in their early twenties wearing dark colored clothing.
