generic arial,sans-serif;”>SUPERVISING ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER:  Ventura County Animal Services (VCAS) is searching for a motivated and innovative Supervising Animal Control Officer that is willing to think outside the litter box. VCAS provides shelter and field services to eight cities within Ventura County. We are the largest No-Kill municipal animal shelter in California. The Supervising Animal Control Officer plans and supervises the work of Animal Control Officers and clerical staff assigned to various program areas within the Department of Animal Services including by not limited to: field services, shelter operations, clerical support, and/or licensing. The individual that will succeed in this position has strong leadership and problem solving skills, has a team focused attitude, and has the intellectual agility and the ability to think strategically.
