Narrative:
On the above date and time, the Ventura Police Command Center received information that Francisco Alvarez was in the 6000 block of Woodland Street and believed to be in possession of a firearm. Alvarez was wanted for numerous felony charges related to a domestic violence and burglary incident that occurred on 12/04/21. After arriving in the area, Officers determined that Alvarez was inside a laundry room on the property of a duplex. Alvarez refused to exit the room, and a crisis negotiator spoke with Alvarez and gained his compliance to surrender. At approximately 2238 hours, Officers took Alvarez into custody without incident. A firearm was located at the scene.
Alvarez was arrested for numerous felony charges including possession of a stolen firearm, felon in possession of a firearm, burglary, and domestic violence.
