“You may ignore politics, but politics won’t ignore you.”
2016 is a Presidential election year. Although California has one of the last primaries, it may be decisive in helping to determine which candidates are on the November ballot. In addition, many down-ticket positions are up for election this year, including US Senator, House of Representatives, State Senate & Assembly, County Supervisors, City Council, School Boards, Water Boards, and more.
A surprising number of decisions and power over your life are controlled by the people who win offices, which is what we were referring to above about “politics won’t ignore you.”

June 7, 2016 Presidential Primary Election Candidate List
Interesting that it’s called the Presidential Primary list, but they haven’t yet added the presidential candidates. When we asked why, we were told that the CA Secretary of State doesn’t have it ready yet. The major party candidates: are Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, “Ted” Cruz and John Kasich. We hear that Libertarians are running Gary Johnson and John McAfee.

Thanks George. I have already voted with my absentee ballot, but this helps those who still may have some questions before they’ve made up their minds.
