Project Veritas | USPS Investigators Interrogate USPS Whistleblower Richard Hopkins

RAW AUDIO of USPS Investigators Interrogating USPS Whistleblower Richard Hopkins Released … Investigators Use Intimidation Tactics to Sway Hopkins Away From Original Version: ‘I Am Trying To Twist You’ … ‘I Am Scaring You Here’

    • Russell Strasser, USPS Federal Investigator: “This storm is getting crazy, right? It’s out of a lot of people’s control. And so, the reason they called me in is to try to harness that swarm, try to reel it back in before it gets really crazy.”
    • Russell Strasser: “I am actually, I am trying to twist you a little bit because in that, believe it or not, your mind will kick in.”
    • Strasser: “I am scaring you here. OK. If we are not 1,000% percent accurate with our honesty and it can be argued that money was gained by, I’m going to say assumptions. They’re going to say deceptions.”
    • Strasser: “I believe you. I’m in your corner on this. I want to take care of you. Yes. You believe me on that. I mean, because that’s why I’m here. There we go. OK?”
    • O’Keefe: “What we are seeing here is not an investigation into voter fraud. This is plain and simple witness intimidation, and something must be done to prevent anyone from ever going through what Richard Hopkins has been put through.”

[WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y.–Nov. 11, 2020] Project Veritas released raw audio today of Monday’s hours-long interview between USPS investigators and the USPS whistleblower, Richard Hopkins.

“USPS investigator Russell Strasser coerced Hopkins into doubting his original story, using psychological tactics to pretend there was a friendly and honest conversation taking place,” said James O’Keefe, the founder and CEO of Project Veritas.

“Strasser had absolutely no intention of investigating the very serious and valid claims of voter fraud brought forward by Richard Hopkins,” he said.

“What we are seeing here is not an investigation into voter fraud. This is plain and simple witness intimidation, and something must be done to prevent anyone from ever going through what Richard Hopkins has been put through,” he said.

Hopkins cooperated fully with the USPS investigators during the interview, which led the investigators to believe they could get away with nefarious behavior, he said.

Here are some of the comments made by Strasser during the interview with Hopkins:

“This storm is getting crazy, right? It’s out of a lot of people’s control. And so, the reason they called me in is to try to harness that swarm, try to reel it back in before it gets really crazy.”

“I am actually, I am trying to twist you a little bit because in that, believe it or not, your mind will kick in. OK. We like to control our mind. And when we do that, we can convince ourselves of a memory. But when you’re under a little bit of stress, which is what I’m doing to you purposely, your mind can be a little bit clearer and we’re going to do a different exercise too, to make your mind a little bit clearer.”

“I am scaring you here. OK. If we are not, a thousand percent accurate with our honesty and it can be argued that money was gained by, I’m going to say assumptions. They’re going to say deceptions.”

“I believe you. I am on your I’m in your corner on this. I want you to take care of you. Yes. You believe me on that. I mean, because that’s why I’m here. There we go. OK.”

O’Keefe said it was an outrage what took place in this interview.

“These tactics have been used to interrogate foreign enemy combatants. Strasser demonstrated that his goal was to undermine Hopkins’ story, not investigate it.”

USPS ‘Whistleblower’ Admits Project Veritas Wrote His Tampering Claim

A postal worker whose allegation of ballot-tampering was at the center of Republican efforts to challenge the outcome of the presidential election has admitted to investigators that Project Veritas actually penned the affidavit laying out his claims.

A two-hour audio recording released by Project Veritas on Wednesday shows Richard Hopkins being interviewed by federal investigators over his claim, first publicized by Project Veritas, that he had overheard a postmaster instructing workers in Erie, Pennsylvania, to backdate mail-in votes to meet the Election Day deadline.

The audio had been touted by the conservative group as proof that Hopkins was manipulated by investigators but still stood by his allegations, despite House Democrats saying earlier this week that the U.S. Postal Service Office of Inspector General told them Hopkins admitted to fabricating the claims.

Instead, it captured him doing the very opposite.

When he was asked if he wanted to stick with his claim about ballot-tampering, Hopkins said, “At this point? No.”

He said his allegation had stemmed from “assumptions” he made after overhearing tidbits of staffers’ conversations in the mail facility.

Hopkins told investigators not only that his affidavit was written by Project Veritas but that he wasn’t even entirely sure of what the group had included in it because he was in “so much shock I wasn’t paying that much attention to what they were telling me.”

A spokesman for Project Veritas confessed to having a hand in the affidavit but claimed that the “affidavit was drafted with Mr. Hopkins’ input and requested revisions.”

Talk about taking words out of context. We have differing interpretations of that interview. In addition, the postal worker issued a video statement that he never recanted.

Anyone who works or worked at a post office knows that you better have someone else to corroborate your story or the post office will make your job history very quickly. He was stupid AF to sign an affidavit like that i think he got an offer of some type from Project Veritas to do it . so with no further verification of his allegations it will be thrown out, along with him under ELM 665.
