Quick work to extinguish fire at Santa Paula residence

LLPOn March 28th at approximately 8:04 PM, officers from the Santa Paula Police Department responded with the Ventura County Fire Department to a call of a structure fire at 1328 Richmond Rd. When officers arrived, they found heavy smoke coming from the residence. A detached building to the residence was checked and cleared. The Ventura County Fire Department arrived and after several minutes was able to extinguish the flames.

Arson investigators from the Ventura County Fire Department were called to the scene to determine if the fire was suspicious in nature. There were no injuries as a result of the fire. The investigation is ongoing.
