Recall Newsom petition efforts surprisingly strong

Governor Newsom has approved bills to specifically benefit  those illegally in the United States.

Those bills are AB 32, legislation aimed at shutting down private immigration detention centers in California, and SB 225  that provides a person, regardless of citizenship or immigration status, the right to hold an appointed civil office in California.

In 2015, We The People Rising members took a strong stand in opposition to the two non-citizens in the country illegally who were appointed to commission seats in Huntington Park.

“It is extremely disappointing that a governor, of the United States, approved legislation to help illegal aliens. Where is the AB 32 legisltion to help American citizens receive civil office appointments?” Robin Hvidston, Executive Director of We The People Rising and CA State Coordinator of The Remembrance Project, said. “Our organizations statewide fought this bill. First of all, the citizens of the great state of California are the rightful heirs to hold appointed civil offices in California. These positions should not be going to those illegally in our country. Governor Brown took the right action when he vetoed this bill and now Governor Newsom has taken the wrong action.”

But citizens of California are fighting back, according Hvidston.

“Governor Newsom is overplaying his hand. He is enacting unpopular bills, one after the other. In a July 2019  Quinnipiac poll, he had a mere 39 percent approval rating. This is because he is not following the will of the people,” Hvidston said. “There is currently a grassroots recall of this governor in full swing.  Erin Cruz of Restore America Now is heading up a state approved recall movement. I think with Newsom signing these two bills to benefit illegal aliens that the momentum to sign the petition to recall this governor will be spurred forward.”

Hivdston’s organizations have been actively collecting signatures for the recall. At the October 5th Recall Gavin Newsom rally at the State Capitol in Sacramento, Hvidston represented The Remembrance Project as an official program speaker.

The founder of the recall, Erin Cruz, has been reporting that recall petitions are “flooding in.”

Cruz told One America News that “we hope to send a love letter to Gavin Newsom on Valentine’s Day,” since the deadline is Feb. 13, 2020.

Governor Nuisance is just a figure head and signs bills into laws. He would be neutered without the democrat domination of state government.
