Stuffed Artichokes
This recipe was passed down to Ivan Amodei (talented magician) from his Sicilian (which could explain the yelling listed in the instructions below) mother, an extraordinary culinary artist.
Ingredients:
3 parts bread crumbs,
1 part Parmesan cheese,
A little salt, A little pepper.
Directions:
Place in a zip lock bag and shake your brains out.
Cut bottom and top off artichoke. Wash them. Curse at them, flip them off and yell some more. Now, that the stress is better you may cook them.
Stuff the chokes with your brand new juicy bread crumb mix.
Place into a pot of water.
Water level around middle of them.
Pour extra extra extra extra extra and don’t forget extra virgin olive oil on top. Be generous.
Place lid very, very carefully and then take a picture and yell some more. Feel better?
Should let simmer with a sealed lid for half hour. When leaf is easily removed they are done. Maybe you’re too stressed. Look at all the yelling you did.
