Burglary Suspect

On December 1, 2016, at approximately 0735 hours, officers from the Oxnard Police Department were dispatched to a residential burglary in the 5100 block Corbina Way. A witness saw the suspect removing property from the residence and provided police dispatchers with a description of the suspect and his vehicle (Tan 2001 Ford Ranger).

Responding officers located the suspect vehicle fleeing the area and stopped the vehicle.  Officers confirmed that a burglary had occurred and arrested
Christopher Fuentes.  The property from the burglary along with additional stolen property was located in Fuentes’s vehicle. Detectives were able to link the additional stolen property to two other burglaries in the area.  Fuentes was booked into Ventura County Main Jail. The property was returned to the victim.
