The community is invited to come to a “Rise Up Singing” evening on Friday night, May 18th, at 7:00 pm. Do you have a favorite Beatles song or a Golden Oldie? Join the fun as Maddie Sifantus and Donna Nelson lead us as we experience communal singing. Special May cameo as Chris and Lorin Rowan will stop by with their guitars in preparation for their Santa Paula Concert Series appearance the next evening. All ages are welcome. Free Will Offering ($5 suggested). We meet in the Parish Hall of the Universalist Unitarian Church of Santa Paula which is located at 740 E Main Street in Santa Paula. Singers and instrumentalists of all ages are welcome to this informal and spirited evening of shared music making. Bring a copy of Rise Up Singing or Rise Again, if you have one. Some copies will be available to buy or borrow for the evening. Rise Up Singing will wake a hiatus for June and July with the next one scheduled for Friday, August 17th.
