Santa Paula | 2019 Cinco de Mayo Celebration

Ruben Sanchez, organizer of the highly successful 2018 First Annual Cinco de Mayo Event, thanked his team from these organizations: De Colores, Proyecto Esperanza, Santa Clara Valley Hospice and Latino Town Hall. He also thanked the many sponsors including Santa Paula Chevrolet.

Mr Sanchez reported that 110 cars registered with some turned away due to capacity, 20+ motorcycles, 1500-2000 attendees and a picture perfect day, as shown in this must watch video produced by Assistant City Manager Ikani Taumoepeau. Click on image.

Lorenzo Moraza reported that after expenses there was a profit of $1200 which Latino Tall Hall will use for scholarships.

Not to rest on their laurels, Ruben Sanchez said they are already planning for 2019 with ideas to grow the event.
