Santa Paula Police Department – Incident Press Release
On Thursday, June 13, 2019, the Santa Paula Police Detective Bureau along with the assistance of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Gang Unit, Ventura County Probation Agency, Ventura Police Department, and the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s K9 unit served multiple gang related search warrants in the City of Santa Paula and the City of Ventura. The search warrants were related to the recent shootings that occurred in the City of Santa Paula. As a result of the operation, three individuals were arrested on unrelated charges. The juvenile was arrested for possession of methamphetamine (11377 H&S), Mr. Nuñez (25) was placed on a parole hold and Mr. Mosqueda (30) was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
