 Event Name: Class: Plein Air Outing (Ages 16+)

Cost: $55.00 per person (class and gouache kit) or $40.00 per person (class only)

Description: Team up with experienced plein air enthusiast Lisa Mahony and learn the tools and techniques for successful outdoor painting. Students will meet at the Santa Paula Art Museum’s Cole Creativity Center for preparation and guidance, and then walk to nearby spots for inspiration from local vistas and one-to-one guidance. All skill levels and all ages 16 and over are welcome. Preregistration is required.

Date/Time: Three parts: Sunday, March 8, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; Sunday, March 15, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; and Sunday, March 22, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Description: Join color expert Vyana Novus at the Santa Paula Art Museum to explore our vital connections to color and how to leverage it for creativity, productivity, and success. Event Name: Premiere Party for “Inspiration and Influence: Sculptor Duane Dammeyer and Painter Rima Muna”

Description: Enjoy the premiere of “Inspiration and Influence,” a new exhibition featuring Ventura sculptor Duane Dammeyer and Ventura painter Rima Muna. The exhibition will run through July 12, 2020.

Description: Delve into a time-honored tradition recognized and practiced by the greatest artists – copying! Hone your painting skills, jump-start your creativity, and make something beautiful by learning from and copying great paintings by the masters. Our March masterpiece will be Claude Monet’s “Poppy Field” from 1873. All skill levels and all ages 16 and over are welcome. Preregistration is required.

Description: Join artist Kathleen Kaller at the Santa Paula Art Museum for Eco Flower Printing! Students will work with seasonal flowers and plant-based pigments such as indigo and turmeric to create beautiful prints on natural fabrics. All skill levels and all ages 12 and over are welcome. Event Name: The 10th Annual Fine Art Auction Fundraiser

Event Name: Class: Monotypes Using Gelatin Plates (Ages 16+)

Cost: $80.00 per person for both sessions

Description: Monotypes using gelatin prints is a fast and fun experience in printmaking. Students will learn to make their own gelatin plate, use a variety of tools to create expressive and spontaneous imagery, and employ water-based inks to generate multiple prints to take home. All skill levels and all ages 16 and over are welcome. Preregistration is required.
