Santa Paula Fire Department cooks up burgers for local 4H

The Santa Paula Fire Department sponsored a BBQ for Briggs 4H. Five hundred tickets were sold and over $4,000 was raised. The money will benefit the 4H club and the Firefighters were glad to help out.  The department has been doing fundraisers like this for the past five years. They generated the funds for supplies and to do this for the kids from their annual golf tournament. The kids sell the tickets and the Firefighters Association buys all the food and does the cooking. The kids keep 100% of the money they raise.

Just another great example of community spirit from Santa Paula.
