Santa Paula Police Department – Incident Press Release
The Santa Paula High School and the Santa Paula Police Department would like to reassure the community that ALL students and staff are safe and that classes are proceeding as usual.
Last evening we were made aware of social media rumors regarding a perceived threat. The Santa Paula Police Department was immediately notified by Santa Paula Unified School District. We are investigating the rumors of an unverified threat on social media and trying to determine the source of the rumor.
There will be an increased SPPD presence on campus and on patrol around campus. The SPPD and SPUSD are actively investigating rumors and will update you once further information is available. Again, safety is our number one priority.
