Santa Paula man Arrested for Possession of Meth

On Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at approximately 7:10 am,while inside Starbucks, located at 310 S. Palm Ave. a Santa Paula Police Officer noticed a subject acting suspiciously. The officer then recognized the subject as having an outstanding felony no bail warrant for violation of PROS for violating being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
The subject was known as Brian Herrod, age 32 of Santa Paula. Herrod was then taken into custody without incident. Prior to being transported Herrod was searched. The officer located a small cloth bag that contained approximately 11.6 grams of methamphetamine and a methamphetamine pipe. Herrod was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sales, possession of a methamphetamine pipe, and the felony no bail warrant for violation of PROS for violating being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
After being processed at Santa Paula Police Department Herrod was transported to the Ventura County Main Jail where he is being held on no bail.
