Greg Barnes, Director of Parks and Rec, presented the quarterly report plus status. The time period included the months June, July, August, and September of 2020 or Q3+1.
The three week transformation of the Cultural Arts Center created an enjoyable outdoor space complete with red sail shades, picnic tables and benches, sod/gravel finished the area between the Cultural Arts Center and the Main Street water building into a perfect summer camp site or outdoor exercise area. It is shown in one of the slides.
The staff is disinfecting playgrounds daily even when closed in anticipation of usage. One of the slides shows what is open and what is closed. The kitchens have been professionally cleaned.

Nine classes including model car building are offered, plus senior yoga and chair yoga. See slides for details. Model car building! Wow!
In spite of Covid, over 10,000 senior meals were delivered to the community by volunteers.
Commissions have resumed meetings and permits for events and movies have resumed.
