Santa Paula Police Search for Carjacking Suspects

Santa Paula Police Department – Incident Press Release

On Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at approximately 7:40 AM, the Santa Paula Police Department was notified of a carjacking incident in the 400 block of N. 6th Street. Upon arrival, officers contacted two high school students that reported their car had been stolen (Chevy Silverado – Silver, Lic. Plate: 6F29209) after parking in front of the high school on 6th Street. There are two reported suspects, a male Hispanic with black, slicked-back hair appearing to be between the age of 17 to 20 years old, and a Hispanic female with short red hair appearing to be between 14 to 17 years old. The male suspect is reported to have threatened the victims with what appeared to be a small firearm.

The Santa Paula Police Department and Santa Paula Unified School District continue to ensure students safety and have increased patrols around the High School. If you come into contact with the vehicle and suspects in question, please call 911. As a safety reminder, should you be approached in a robbery incident, please cooperate with the demands from the suspect as your life is more valuable than any tangible possession.

If you have any knowledge or information regarding this incident, please contact Det. Sgt. Allen Macias at (805) 525-4474 ext. 220, WeTip.com or CrimeStoppers (1-800-222-TIPS) to remain anonymous.
