    Santa Paula | Robbery on 10th Street – Suspect Used Machete

    On 07/17/2019, at approximately 1:01 AM, Santa Paula Police Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of N. 10th Street regarding a robbery, which just occurred. ‘

    When officers arrived just over a minute later, they discovered two males, both masked, one armed with a handgun the other with a machete had entered the business and demanded money from the clerk. One suspect retrieved an undisclosed amount of money from the register while the second subject, the one armed with the machete, damaged displays in the store. Both suspects then fled the store towards Ventura St. The store clerk was not injured as a result of the robbery. Officers checked the area for the suspects but were unable to locate them. This case will be forwarded to the detective bureau for further investigation.
