    Alba, Gilbert Age: 23, from Santa Paula

    On 08-12-2020 at approximately 2:21 AM, Officers responded to the 400 blk of Atmore Drive in the City of Santa Paula regarding a vehicle burglary in progress.

    Upon arrival, Officers contacted the Victim who said the suspect entered their vehicle thru the driver’s side door and went through the inside. According to the victim, the suspect fled the area in a vehicle prior to Officers arrival. The Victim gave Officers a description of the suspect’s vehicle. The area was checked and the suspect vehicle was located with the driver’s side door left open and unoccupied. The driver later identified as Gilbert Alba was eventually located.

    Through the investigation, Alba was positively identified as the suspect who tampered with the Victims vehicle. Alba was subsequently arrested and lodged into the Ventura County Jail.
