Ventura Harbor is one of three Ventura County Harbors, containing ocean and harbor beaches, recreational and commercial facilities, as well as restaurants and shopping, even amusements and a comedy club, in a section known as Ventura Harbor Village, on Spinnaker Drive.
The handling of the COVID-19 situation has been a disaster for many businesses there- all over most of California, for that matter. Some have closed, temporarily or permanently. BUT, there are still restaurants, shops, rentals and other operations eager for your business. This would be a great time to be shopping for good deals on unique gifts, artwork, clothing, tasty meals and more.
I did some last minute shopping there myself and was particularly happy with merchandise quality and fair pricing at Treasure Cove, (on Facebook, too) owned and operated by Hilda Wann for the last 27 years.
Check out the village web site when you have a chance, or better yet, drive, swim, paddle, surf or boat over there yourself and check it out.
